Gargoyle Bat- SOLD

Plaster. 10”x8”x8”

This piece was made at the beginning of confinement when talks of bats as culprits were all around. As a creature that historically evokes grotesque and discomfort, the classic gargoyle figure takes the form of what was, for a moment, the symbol of all things bad.

This is special to me as it is the first piece I did after graduating art school. It was a tough year.
